CPSBB hosted a training seminar for cosmetologists from Bulgaria

CPSBB hosted a one-day training seminar for cosmetologists, organized by the Beauty Woman publishing house. The event was attended by over 100 beauticians, representatives of the cosmetic industry, dermatologists, and scientists, who presented innovative developments in the fields of cosmetology, skin care, and health prevention with natural products.

The event’s program included lecture panels as well as an exhibition area showcasing innovative cosmetic products and technologies aimed at skin care and overall health. Prof. Dr. Milen Georgiev was a keynote speaker at the event. He presented scientific research in the field of longevity and photoaging, conducted by the “Plant Cell Biotechnology” department at CPSBB.

Assist. Iva Stoykova performed skin analysis on volunteers using the advanced technology – Janus PRO. This technology provides a 3D facial skin analysis using digital multispectral imaging. With this device, the scientists at CPSBB are currently conducting a controlled test trial of a newly developed cosmetic product containing a plant-based substance, which shows promising potential for protecting the skin from UV and blue light.
