Researcher of CPSBB was nominated for the prestigious Bulgarian Pythagoras Award

Dr. Martina Savova, a researcher from the Plant Cell Biotechnology of CPSBB and Laboratory of Metabolomics at the Institute of Microbiology of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, was nominated for the prestigious “Pythagoras” Award of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The nomination in the category “Young researcher in life sciences and medicine” was announced at an official ceremony in Sofia on October 15, 2025 as a recognition of Dr. Savova’s research and achievements in the field of molecular pharmacology of metabolic and age-related diseases.

A certificate of nomination was presented by the Minister of Education and Science, Mr. Krassimir Valchev.
