CPSBB presented policies and good practices on gender equality in the workplace
CPSBB participated in an online seminar to exchange experience and know-how in the development and implementation of gender equality policies in scientific institutions and organizations. The event was organized by Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
Prof. Vessela Kazashka, Head of the Department “Administration” at CPSBB presented the activities and organizational policies at the Center that ensure compliance with the fundamental rights of employees and principles of equal access to employment and career development, equal pay, equal access to education and resources, balance between personal and professional life, and prevention of violence, harassment and discrimination in the workplace.
According to the official “Gender Equality Policies” at CPSBB, the management implements a number of activities, including promoting an inclusive workplace culture, equal access to research opportunities, and actively encouraging the participation of women in scientific departments, including in leadership positions.
CPSBB strives to provide conditions for career development through transparent recruitment policies and equal opportunities for training and professional development. The main goal of the management is to guarantee a balance between professional and private life, zero tolerance to discrimination based on gender, religion or race and fair conditions for all employees.
Currently, CPSBB employs experts from over 10 countries around the world – Bulgaria, Canada, France, Italy, India, South Africa, Germany, Poland and others.
