Dr. Hao Tong
Position: Postdoctoral researcher
Department: Bioinformatics and Mathematical Modelling, CPSBB
Dr. Tong’s research interests focus mainly on the mathematical modelling of statistical genetics and systems biology using multi-omics data. His innovative work is focused on integrating the network approaches, particularly genome-scale metabolite network, with the models of genetic mapping and genomic prediction by combining the linear mixed model, machine learning model and constraint-based modelling. The integrative approaches will provide a more comprehensive understanding of the molecular mechanisms of complex traits.
