On 21 and 22 July 2022, CPSBB took part in the Open Field Days, organized by the seeds producer Opora Zaden in Tsalapitsa, Plovdiv. This is one of the major events in the agricultural industry, which gathers producers and researchers from all parts of Bulgaria, offering them the opportunity for a know-how exchange and b2b meetings.

 

CPSBB was presented with a stand where the visitors gained information about the PlantaSYST project, the research activities of the CPSBB, and the advantages of the biostimulant SuperFifty, produced by the Irish company BioAtlantis. The SuperFifty product is further improved and developed in a partnership between the company and the researchers from the Molecular Stress Physiology Department of CPSBB.

 

All guests of the event were able to visit the experimental fields at Opora Zaden, where researchers from the CPSBB displayed amazing results obtained by priming effect of SuperFifty biostimulant on peppers and lettuces. SuperFifty primed crops show ​​improvement in plant growth, fruit size and the yield of vegetables.
