Workshop on Horizon Europe (2021-2027) Implementation
22 January 2020, Ruse, Bulgaria
The Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science, the Romanian Ministry for Education and Research, and the European Commission invited CPSBB and other important organizations in the region to the Bulgarian and Romanian Regional Stakeholder Workshop on Horizon Europe implementation.
The European Council and the European Parliament have come to a political agreement on the main elements of “Horizon Europe”, the future EU Research and Innovation framework programme starting in 2021. On this basis, the Commission has started preparing the programme’s implementation details, in close consultation with stakeholders to help identify impacts, spark debate and new ideas. As part of the stakeholder consultation, national or regional events in all Member States are organized, for discussing the implementation strategy. Through these events, the Commission wants to encourage the active participation of beneficiaries in the discussion on the implementation of Horizon Europe.
During the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vesela KAZASHKA met with the Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Education and Science Karina ANGELIEVA and the Romanian Ministry Representative (on the picture below) to discussed the new opportunities within Horizon Europe, as well as the role of CPSBB in the future scientific development of the region.
