Milen Georgiev wins the 2020 Pythagoras prize

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Milen Georgiev, PI of IMicB and head of the CPSBB’s Dept. Plant Cell Biotechnology, has won the most prestigious Bulgarian scientific award “Pythagoras” in the category “Life and technical sciences”. The award was presented by Krasimir Valchev, the Bulgarian Minister of Education and Science, and Maria Gabriel, EU Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, at a ceremony held on 24 May 2020.
