The sixth edition of the International Conference on Natural Products Utilization will be held in Bansko, Bulgaria on 27-30 May 2025. The large-scale scientific event will gather researchers and industry representatives from over 50 countries and four continents (Europe, South America, Asia and Africa) in Bansko for knowledge-exchange in the discovery, development and application of natural compounds in medicine and pharmacy in favor of human health. 

The event will offer lectures, poster exhibitions and workshops, held by prominent scientists from Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, Serbia, Switzerland, Poland, Taiwan, Greece, Türkiye, Austria, etc. The discussions will cover cutting-edge research, regarding the isolation, identification, and application of bioactive compounds derived from plants and food products with potential or proven beneficial effects on human health.

The event will explore the latest advancements in the use of natural compounds in pharmaceutical research and medicine, offering a platform for international collaboration. With the growing global interest in natural remedies and nutraceuticals and the ever-expanding field of pharmaceutical sciences, the three-day conference will focus on the essential role of natural compounds in developing innovative therapies and prophylactics of a wide range of health conditions, as well as with benefit to the longevity and anti-aging domains. 

The conference is organised by Prof. Dr. Milen I. Georgiev (President of the Bulgarian Phytochemical Society and Head of Departments in the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Center of Plant Systems Biology and Biotechnology in Plovdiv, Bulgaria), Prof. Dr. Kalina Alipieva from the Institute of Organic Chemistry with Centre of Phytochemistry, and Prof. Dr. Milena Popova from the Institute of Organic Chemistry with the Centre of Phytochemistry. The Center of Excellence in Plant Systems Biology and Biotechnology in Plovdiv (CPSBB) is a partner of the event, along with institutes and universities from 20 countries worldwide, supporting the event with representatives in the scientific committee of the conference.
