A delegation from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China visited CPSBB

An official delegation from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Bulgaria visited CPSBB. The delegation included Mr. Huang He, First Secretary for Science and Technology Affairs, Mr. Ma Hongchen, First Secretary for Agricultural Affairs, and Mr. Ning Yongpeng, Second Secretary for Science and Technology Affairs.
The delegates were welcomed by the Director of CPSBB, Prof. Tsanko Gechev, the Administrative Director, Prof. Vesela Kazashka, the Head of the Funding Department, Dr. Veselin Petrov, and the Scientific Secretary, Mrs. Marina Mircheva.
During the visit, Prof. Tsanko Gechev presented the current developments at CPSBB, including the Centre’s collaboration activities with Chinese research institutions. The delegation was introduced to the fundamental and applied research carried out at CPSBB, as well as the technologies, current national and international projects, and selected experiments conducted by the scientists at the Centre.
The discussions focused on opportunities for strengthening bilateral cooperation and expanding joint project activities between CPSBB and Chinese partner organizations. Mr. Huang He also presented potential opportunities for future joint initiatives and partnerships with Chinese institutions.
From sustainable agriculture and human health to potential collaborations in space-related experiments, the visit provided a valuable platform for productive discussions and future scientific cooperation. The meeting reaffirmed CPSBB’s commitment to advancing world-class science through international partnerships and shared innovation.
