Martina Savova, MSc in Pharmacy
Position: Laboratory manager / Technician
Department: Plant Cell Biotechnology, CPSBB
The main area of Martina’s research interests is modulation of obesity mechanisms through plant extracts and bioactive phytochemicals using in vitro model of human SGBS adipocytes.
Martina is also interested in NMR-based metabolomics, bioactivity of plant-derived secondary metabolites and pharmacological modulation with natural compounds of the transcription factor Nrf2 in different in vitro models.
