Dr. Ramadoss Dhanushkodi
Position: Postdoctoral researcher
Department: Molecular Stress Physiology, CPSBB
Dr. Dhanushkodi is an expert on molecular stress physiology of plants and plant-microbe interactions. He has performed extensive research on molecular and physiological responses of Medicago truncatula, Arabidopsis thaliana and other economically important legume crops to abiotic stresses. His major research is currently focused on revealing the mechanism of novel genes which confer oxidative stress tolerance in A. thaliana and applying the findings to maximize the stress tolerance of important vegetable crops.
