Education and career opportunities at CPSBB were presented during the “Career Day” at the Agricultural University of Plovdiv

CPSBB took part in the annual “Career Day” organized by the Agricultural University of Plovdiv. Dr. Veselin Petrov (Head of the “Funding” Department at CPSBB), Hristina Vancheva (PR Expert), Petar Kazakov (Marketing Manager), as well as university graduates Mihail Angelov (Molecular Biologist, PhD student in Biotechnologies) and Konstantin Nikolov (Agricultural worker, CPSBB) presented the Center to students, academia representatives and industry.

The team welcomed all visitors to the exhibition stand of CPSBB, where they were introduced to various educational and career development opportunities in the fields of biology, biotechnology, molecular biology, biochemistry and other related disciplines. Internship programs, joint diploma thesis, as well as free access to online training courses organized by the Center were among the opportunities offered to students.

The scientific complex, the scientific departments, as well as some of the projects of CPSBB were presented – PlantaSYST, NatGenCrop, BELIS, BOOSTER, CropPrime, AgroDigiRise, CAFTA, RESIST, HealthyDiets4Africa, etc. 

The CPSBB’s team specified that the Center has accreditation for the training of doctoral students in the field of biotechnology, which provides the opportunity for free doctoral studies and the development of a research career in the first Bulgarian Center of Excellence in the field of plant systems biology and biotechnology.
