The Center of Plant Systems Biology and Biotechnology (CPSBB) has launched the implementation of the AgroDigiRise 2.0 project, aimed at introducing innovative digital technologies and artificial intelligence-based solutions into the fruit and vegetable production sector.

The project will provide agricultural producers with access to specialized infrastructure and expert services through demonstration days, webinars, and on-site consultations. As part of the demonstration facilities, users will have the opportunity to test and evaluate state-of-the-art technological solutions for precision and sustainable agriculture.

At this stage, a training needs assessment of the target groups is being conducted, and a dedicated training program tailored to the specific requirements of agricultural producers is under development. In parallel, modular training programs are being prepared to enhance knowledge and practical skills related to digital technologies and the application of artificial intelligence in agriculture.

Among CPSBB’s key activities within the project are providing access to specialized infrastructure for technology demonstrations, conducting pilot trials and high-tech analyses, implementing AI-based process automation and robotic solutions, and developing innovative artificial intelligence applications tailored to the specific needs of fruit and vegetable producers.

Through AgroDigiRise 2.0, CPSBB will contribute to the accelerated adoption of advanced technologies in the agricultural sector, improve the productivity and competitiveness of farming enterprises, and support the sustainable development of Bulgarian agriculture.
