CPSBB was presented at the biggest agricultural fair in Bulgaria

CPSBB was presented at the biggest agricultural fair in Bulgaria – AGRA on 22-25 February 2023. The Center and its partner – “Maritsa” Vegetable Crops Research Institute (MVCRI) participated with a mutual stand where six  tomato and pepper varieties, developed in a collaboration between the two institutes, were presented to visitors.

As a partner of AgroHub.BG, CPSBB provided information to visitors about the free services for Bulgarian farmers under the project AgroDigiRise. A scientific demo point will be positioned in the research complex of CPSBB. The demo point will offer farmers scientific expertise and access to the most modern technologies for sustainable and precise agriculture. 

A special survey for farmers, prepared by the coordinator of the project AgroDigiRise, was disseminated in order to analyze farmer’s needs and offer proper solutions.

The conference is organized for the second time by CPSBB. The international event will take place on September 25-27 in Plovdiv in the new scientific campus of the Center, which was built with funding by the European Regional Development Fund through the Operational Programme “Science and Education for Smart Growth”
