The main area of Gergana’s research interests is plant molecular farming – production of valuable proteins and virus-like particles in plants, for their potential use as candidate vaccines. More recently, Dr. Zahmanova has developed experience in intellectual property rights protection and management, as well as technology transfer. She participated in the communication and networking with different stakeholders and supporting of the IP rules in CPSBB.
